Key Accounts Coordinator (Location: Antwerp, Belgium, Hybrid)
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
This role supports the Regional Director and Key Account Managers by managing RFQs, pricing, SOP maintenance, analytics, and day-to-day coordination to enable strategic account growth.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Serve as primary internal contact for Key Account Managers (KAMs) to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
• Support KAMs in RFQs, tenders, and spot quotations for LCL shipments (export & import).
• Maintain and update customer SOPs and rate agreements.
• Manage quote follow-ups, track conversion ratios, and monitor hit/miss reasons.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly, ensuring consistent service levels and communication.
• Participate in business reviews by preparing performance data and shipment analytics.
• Coordinate with Trade & Pricing teams to provide competitive LCL quotations (freight, origin, destination, and local charges).
• Maintain an updated rate library for key accounts, ensuring valid tariffs are accessible to the sales team.
• Coordinate with KAMs and Sales teams to manage incoming leads, track progress, and ensure timely follow-up for conversion opportunities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years in freight forwarding or NVOCC, preferably in LCL quoting/pricing, sales support, or key-account operations.
• Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, margin modeling) and comfort with dashboards/BI.
• Working knowledge of TMS/forwarding platforms (e.g., CargoWise) and/or e-tendering tools (e.g., Transporeon).
• Solid understanding of LCL/Ocean workflows, Incoterms, and quote-to-book processes.
• Languages: German (C1) and English (professional); additional European or African languages are a plus.
• Exceptional organization, follow-through, and stakeholder management.
