Sword / DuelSim Specialist & Trainer

Role Purpose

Configure and administer Sword/DuelSim, develop scenarios and training datasets, provide coaching to instructors, and support live training events.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

- Bachelor or equivalent

- Dutch, French and English – minimum B2 level in each.

Technical Skills:

- Wargaming

- MASA SWORD

- DIS/HLA

- Python

- scenario planning

- live training safety & procedures.

Tools & Technologies:

- Sword

- DuelSim

- SQL

- Python

- C2/JChat

- HLA/DIS gateways.

Soft Skills:

- Teamwork and effective communication with cross-functional roles.

- Adaptability to operational missions and changing priorities.

- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems.

- Ability to integrate into military culture and abide by rules of discipline.

Security Requirements:

National SECRET security clearance required or eligibility to obtain it.

Working Conditions:

- Full-time position with rotating and extended shift availability (06:00–22:00).

- Occasional 24-hour service coverage depending on exercises.

- Travel for national and international exercises or support as needed.
