Overview

Edison Smart are supporting a leading manufacturing client in Belgium looking for a Project Engineer to coordinate and lead the installation and integration of a new process line.

This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for someone who thrives in complex automation environments and enjoys steering multiple teams towards project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate installation and integration companies across automation and electrical scopes.
• Ensure activities align with project timelines and technical plans.
• Monitor progress, resolve on-site issues, and make operational decisions.
• Manage planning, scheduling, and overall execution of works.
• Act as a technical bridge between engineering, site teams, and integrators, covering automation, electrical, and project delivery functions.

Technical Requirements

• Strong understanding of PLC-based process control systems (Rockwell / Siemens exposure preferred).
• Capable of reviewing instrument lists, control drawings, and process electrical documentation.
• Proven experience managing large-scale industrial installation projects.
• Background in process automation or manufacturing environments
• Must be Dutch speaking
