We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to play a key role in our enterprise-wide data initiatives. This is a high-visibility, transversal role (you'll collaborate with stakeholders across virtually every function of the company to understand data needs, define requirements, and ensure the successful delivery of impactful data solutions).
You'll be the vital link between business and technology teams, helping translate strategic objectives into actionable data outcomes. Experience in data projects, especially Data Warehouse implementations, is essential for success in this position.
Key responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across departments, managing relationships, expectations, and communication effectively
Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements related to data initiatives, ensuring clarity and alignment between teams
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and analysts to design and deliver data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and governance needs
Contribute to the implementation and evolution of the enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring data quality, consistency, and usability
Support data governance and metadata management efforts, helping drive data literacy and adoption across the business
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for non-technical stakeholders
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Business Data Analyst or Data-Focused Business Analyst in cross-functional environments
Strong background in data-driven projects, ideally including Data Warehouse or data platform implementations
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — able to influence, align, and engage at all levels of the organization
Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Familiarity with Azure data environments (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse) is a plus
Analytical mindset with attention to detail, combined with the ability to see the big picture
Experience in the financial sector is an advantage but not mandatory
