We’re expanding our AI team at Apex Consulting and are looking for an AI Engineer who can turn breakthrough ideas into intelligent, scalable solutions.

You’ll work on projects that use GPT models, Azure AI services, and emerging agentic frameworks to build real-world applications that deliver measurable business value.

This role combines hands-on engineering, solution design, and experimentation — perfect for someone who enjoys shaping the next generation of AI systems.

🧩 What You’ll Do

Develop & Prototype

• Build end-to-end AI use cases, from concept to working prototype.
• Rapidly test and iterate on scenarios that blend AI, data, and UX.
• Apply strong prompt engineering skills to fine-tune model performance.
• Implement and integrate Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services into production environments.
• Use your creativity to design smart, data-driven features that solve real user needs.

Integrate & Document

• Connect AI solutions seamlessly with existing systems and APIs.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable smooth interaction between AI models and enterprise software.
• Maintain clear documentation of your architecture, code, and workflows.

Collaborate & Co-Create

• Work hand-in-hand with product owners, designers, and data experts to define high-impact use cases.
• Translate business challenges into AI-assisted process improvements.
• Select the right level of AI complexity for each use case — practical, not just theoretical.

Innovate & Share

• Stay ahead of the curve with the latest advancements in Generative and Agentic AI.
• Experiment with OpenAI Agent SDK, MCP tools, and related frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews, demos, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Educate and inspire teams around you on how to use Generative AI responsibly and effectively.

🧠 Your Background

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AI projects, ideally involving LLMs (GPT, OpenAI, Azure AI).
• Deep understanding of pre-trained language models and their practical applications.
• Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, and cloud-based architectures.
• Strong skills in Python development and API integration.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, version control, and continuous delivery.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and Business Intelligence environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and driven to turn ideas into impact.
