Test Automation Lead / QA Coordinator

Test Automation Lead / QA Coordinator

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Type of Contract: Permanent Contract

Mandatory Languages: Fluent English (mandatory) and French and/or Dutch (required).

We are looking for a Test Automation Lead with 8 years of experience in software testing and automation. You’ll be responsible for defining the automation strategy, ensuring test coverage, and leading QA best practices within an Agile environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Clarify functional and non-functional requirements and document automated test results.
• Define and lead the test automation strategy, tools, and architecture.
• Develop test plans and report software quality to key stakeholders.
• Act as a coach and coordinator, promoting best practices across the QA team.
• Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams.

Technical Skills:

• Strong in Gherkin, Selenium, BDD (Cucumber), XRAY, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Programming knowledge: Java, JavaScript, SpringBoot, Angular, JSON, XML, OpenAPI, HTML.
• Experience with REST APIs, ActiveMQ, SQL, and test datasets.
• Familiar with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, GitLab, etc.).

Plus:

• ISTQB or similar certifications.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
