Delen Private Bank specializes in discretionary asset management and wealth planning.

Our IT department consists of more than 160 professionals out of a total of nearly 1.000 employees.

At Delen Private Bank, we support our clients with a comprehensive range of discretionary asset management and wealth planning services.

To achieve this, we rely on advanced automation through a strategically developed in-house Core Banking software.


Function


Reporting to: Data & Reporting Manager

As a BI & AI Data Engineer within the Data, Analytics & Reporting team, you play a key role in building reliable and scalable data solutions that support reporting, self-service analytics, and AI.


You ensure that data is accurate, secure, and available on time for analysis and decision-making.


You will:

  • Develop and maintain data models that enable users to independently gain valuable insights from data.
  • Manage data workflows, ensuring proper monitoring, error handling, and overall stability of the data environment.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders in an agile environment to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Safeguard data quality and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
  • Document your work thoroughly and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and models.
  • Explore new technologies to continuously strengthen and modernize the data platform.


By combining your technical expertise with business insight, you contribute to the strategic objectives of the organization and help drive innovation and impact through data.


Profile

You have at least 3 years of experience as a BI or Data Engineer and combine strong technical expertise with a pragmatic and proactive mindset.

In addition, you bring:

  • Deep experience with dimensional data modeling and designing efficient data structures for analytics and AI.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, including best practices such as modularity, testing, and version control.
  • Advanced SQL skills for writing high-performing queries and building analytical datasets.
  • Experience in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure Data Factory.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks for processing and analyzing large volumes of data.
  • Understanding of workflow orchestration and cloud-native development, with a focus on scalability and cost efficiency.
  • A strong eye for data quality, metadata management, and access control.
  • Excellent communication skills and a hands-on mentality.
  • A genuine team player who enjoys collaboration, knowledge sharing, and exploring new technologies.
  • A good knowledge of English is a must, good knowledge of Dutch is a plus but not needed.
