Project Consultant, Health Policy

APCO's Brussels office is hiring a Project Consultant to join our fast-growing healthcare team. We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and talented professional to join our team based on rue Montoyer, just a few minutes' walk from the European Institutions.

As a Project Consultant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support of client projects by drafting materials (i.e. summary reports, credentials and proposals) and by conducting and analyzing research on a variety of client-related issues, or media monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of client ready materials such as policy analyses, briefing notes and summary reports.
• Monitor developments in key client issue areas and flag opportunities for further client engagement.
• New business development, including drafting proposals and participating in new business pitches.
  Coordinating client meetings and events.

Qualifications

• At least 1-3 years' of policy or relevant work experience, in consultancy, European institutions, or within associations .
• A good understanding of the EU health policy landscape, complex health policy issues and the legislative/regulatory process.
• Exceptional writing and analytical skills, and the ability to write both strategically and creatively under tight deadlines .
• Excellent client and interpersonal skills; ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively.
• Strong understanding of EU institutions and decision-making procedures.
  Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and creative problem-solving skills .
