Shop Manager

As a Store Manager at JOTT, you play a key role in translating our brand DNA and our Story to our customers. You are the voice of JOTT and a true ambassador of the company, our products, values and our culture. You ensure a consistently memorable customer shopping experience while generating meaningful revenue and positive operating profit for your store.

You will be in charge of meeting sales goals by organizing, planning, implementing strategy and coordinating retail store operations; as well as sharing JOTT's vision & image through a high-quality service aimed at our clientele.

You will report to your Area Manager and be expected to act in the following domains:

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP & SALES MANAGEMENT

Be a shining example of well behaviour and high performance by contributing on team-effort.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service for customer retention and database growth.

Know perfectly the product offer, their features and benefits in order to propose a relevant selection of items adapted to each customer.

Implement concrete action plans while applying the company's commercial strategy and propose innovative ideas to your Management to grow the turnover of your store.

As a digital ambassador, use the tools provided to offer a seamless & personalized shopping experience (clienteling) to your customers and increase the omnichannel performances of your store.

Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

Lead the recruitment of your store to fulfil the needs and requirements to create your "Dream Team".

Manage and federate the teams in store by following on-boarding, making fun and interactive trainings on selling technics, collection, management and procedures.

Train your team members to be best-in-class in the use & execution of digital tools (e-learning platform, tablets, …)

Embody & share the values of JOTT to your team to create a positive workplace.

Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths.

Monitor shop floor coverage and the team individual performance on regular basis and ensure result meet expectations.

ADMINISTRATION & STORE ACTIVITIES

Establish sales goals and be responsible for their achievement.

Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures by scheduling and assigning tasks to employees & following up on work results.

Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of all store operations, including the timely submission of all personnel paperwork, preparing and submitting reports, and monitoring sales receipts and cash.

Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards by following the recommendations; as well as identify potential improvements in store operations and merchandise flow to maximize the store's performances and communicate them to the management.

Report discrepancies and problems to your Management.

Be responsible for achieving store shrinkage goals and for the establishment & implementation of both new and existing loss prevention procedures (seasonal inventories, end of season stock returns, …)

Organise internal transfers when possible to ensure stockholding meets customer demands.

Provide continual feedback to buyers and planners for the purpose of identifying items and merchandise classifications of high sales and profit potential.

Communicate special requirements relating to customer needs or competition.
