Data Insights Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Power BI developer to support our manufacturing operations with reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will work with our data team, taking ownership of the reporting and dashboarding layer.

About this role

This is a short-term assignment expected to last 3-6 months, starting as soon as possible. You will be working from home for up to 2 days per week and spending 3 days in our office.

Main focus areas

• Develop leadership dashboards to monitor productivity performance across our manufacturing installations and locations.
• SUPPORT CTO team experts with data analysis and reporting on energy usage and emissions.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing Power BI semantic models aligned with business logic.
• Developing interactive dashboards and reports based on stakeholder needs.
• Translating business requirements into clear KPIs and visualizations.
• Collaborating with the data team to ensure data quality and performance.
• Working independently and proactively with stakeholders to shape and fine-tune reports.

Required skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A strong background in Power BI, including Power Query, Data modeling, and DAX.
• A solid understanding of data visualization best practices.
• Familiarity with modern data lake concepts built on Microsoft technologies.
• The ability to work autonomously and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Experience with manufacturing data and/or CO₂/energy reporting is a plus.
