About The Role

We're looking for a
Back-End Engineer
who wants to build the infrastructure that powers the next generation of financial intelligence.

This is not a maintenance role. It's a
0→1 systems design challenge
:

• Building fault-tolerant, high-performance data ingestion pipelines that sync across complex ERP and accounting environments.
• Architecting secure, scalable multi-tenant systems that serve demanding enterprise workloads.
• Enabling AI-driven workflows that turn financial complexity into clarity.

You'll work directly with the founders to shape the technical direction, ship critical features, and set the engineering culture from day one.

What You'll Do

• Design and build
  the core backend systems that power Eagl's financial intelligence layer, from data ingestion pipelines to agentic workflows and ERP integrations.
• Work across the stack
  on high-performance APIs, data modeling, and orchestration using Temporal and AWS.
• Collaborate with product and AI engineers
  to ship features that make financial data transparent, explainable, and actionable.
• Architect for scale
  ensuring multi-tenant reliability, security, and maintainability as we onboard larger customers and more ERP systems.
• Shape technical direction
  and best practices across the backend, from code structure and monitoring to performance and deployment.
• Contribute to product decisions
  and help evolve how finance teams interact with AI.

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems in
  , TypeScript, or similar languages
• Deep understanding of
  distributed systems, API design, and data modeling
• Experience with
  AWS, databases (SQL), and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Bonus: familiarity with
  Temporal
  ,
  LangChain
  , or financial/ERP integrations
• A builder's mindset — you thrive in fast-moving environments and care about delivering quality fast
