Overview of the Business Analyst Role in Insurance

  • We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with expertise in the insurance domain to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  2. Participate in requirements gathering sessions with clients, ensuring their needs are met through expert analysis and advice.
  3. Develop and implement functional designs and requirements specifications for various insurance domains, including new business and claims.
  4. Configure client requirements into relevant systems and applications.
  5. Conduct training sessions on the system and its configured product set, empowering stakeholders with essential knowledge.
  6. Provide production support, including UAT testing, defect analysis, and Change Requests management, ensuring seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably within an insurance company.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.
  • Excellent cultural adaptability, coupled with rigorous attention to detail, customer orientation, and strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative team player, contributing to a culture of open communication and mutual respect.
  • Fluency in French and a good command of English; Dutch is a plus.
