Overview of the Business Analyst Role in Insurance
- We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with expertise in the insurance domain to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions with clients, ensuring their needs are met through expert analysis and advice.
- Develop and implement functional designs and requirements specifications for various insurance domains, including new business and claims.
- Configure client requirements into relevant systems and applications.
- Conduct training sessions on the system and its configured product set, empowering stakeholders with essential knowledge.
- Provide production support, including UAT testing, defect analysis, and Change Requests management, ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably within an insurance company.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.
- Excellent cultural adaptability, coupled with rigorous attention to detail, customer orientation, and strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while being a collaborative team player, contributing to a culture of open communication and mutual respect.
- Fluency in French and a good command of English; Dutch is a plus.
