The Warehouse & Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for activities related to the purchase of material accessories and consumables, the organization and maintenance of the warehouse and its equipment, and the management of inventory for critical to quality items. They will also oversee the preparation of material needed in laboratories and controlled areas for the development, manufacturing, Quality Control and site cleaning activities, according to internal Standard Operating procedures, Work Instructions, quality records templates in compliance with GMP requirements..
Key Accountabilities
- Day-to-day management of Purchasing, Reception and Storage activities.
- Responsible for the accuracy of master data, Inventory value and levels of physical stock versus ERP avoiding stock shortage and overstock. Performing cycles and yearly inventory counts.
- Ensure the creation of item master data in the ERP system for any new GxP product, based on coordination with the Quality departments and the end-user teams of the product to be introduced.
- Prepare item data based on Master Batch Records and/or specific requests from Manufacturing, Quality Control, or Development laboratories on site and define units of measure, storage conditions, material types, and procurement parameters (e.g., lead time, MOQ, reorder point).
- Management of expired & rejected items through quality processes (Periodic checks, EVENT, Deviations, CAPA)
- Ensure proper organization and management of the warehouse by applying the 5S method.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting Key Performance Indicators & date extraction for internal controls of the Purchasing and Warehouse Department to the management.
Education And Experience
- Graduate degree with a focus on manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years' experience in managing cross-transversal supply chain activities in GMP environment, ideally Pharmaceutic field
- Extensive experience in working with an ERP system (SAP B1) and eQMS (Master Control).
- Able to work independently or as part of a cross-departmental regional and global teams.
- Experience in managing Deviations, CAPA and Change Controls.
- Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
