Description
ATB Therapeutics is a Biotech company developing a cutting-edge technology to produce a new kind of targeted therapy designed to treat cancers and auto-immune diseases. ATB Therapeutics has two Belgian R&D sites located in the Novalis Science Park (Marche-en-Famenne) and the VIB incubator (Ghent).

To support our growing team, we are looking for a Project Manager - Development Strategy Execution to help us translate our Development plans into actions.

We are looking for someone who is a great communicator, always has a plan, and knows how to turn strategy into reality.

Your Role
As Project Manager – Development Strategy Execution, you will be the operational extension of the Chief Development Officer (CDO), responsible for translating strategic concepts into executable plans across the development organization. You will ensure that initiatives are scoped, structured, and delivered in alignment with ATB's scientific and business priorities. This role requires a strong ability to connect high-level thinking with day-to-day execution, working cross-functionally to drive progress and resolve obstacles.

This Is Wat You Will Be Working On

  • Strategic Translation & Execution

  • Translate the company's strategic vision for our development programs into clear, actionable project plans and implementation roadmaps.

  • Define project scopes, success criteria, and execution timelines in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment of development activities with ATB's broader goals and priorities.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Facilitate and lead collaboration across departmental structures, i.e. between Research, Pharmacology, Toxicology, CMC, QA, RA, and external partners to ensure seamless execution.

  • Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring decisions are documented and followed up.
  • Act as a central point of contact for strategic initiatives within the development column.

  • Operational Oversight

  • Track progress against milestones, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide the CDO and leadership team with real-time visibility.
  • Support resource planning and prioritization across development projects.

  • Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve project workflows, communication, and decision-making processes.

  • Champion the use of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, RAID logs).
  • Capture lessons learned and integrate them into future planning cycles.

Requirements
For a successful fulfilment of this position, we are interested in candidates meeting the following requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management within biotech/pharma, preferably in a development or CMC context.
  • Drug development experience in the field of biologicals, most preferably in antibody-based drugs is essential.
  • Proven ability to work as a part of multi-functional drug development teams and/or head such activities.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and manage complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with rules and regulations for GMP and GLP as well as for regulatory submission and scientific advice procedures.
  • Familiarity with tech transfer processes.
  • Proficiency in the use of project management tools and collaborative platforms.
  • Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch are a plus.
