This traineeship should be part of your university curriculum and LAUREA signs a contract with your university. Commuting expenses can be reimbursed and no salary payment is allowed. You are coached by an experienced professional. The traineeship should be at least 2.5 months and start latest March 2026.

About LAUREA

We are a communication, learning and public affairs company in the healthcare and scientific sector. We are based in the European area of Brussels. We work in co-creation with our international clients and provide the following services:

·      Communication campaigns (email, LinkedIn, Facebook, website and print as the main channels)

·      Live learning experiences organisation (symposia, webinars, workshops)

·      E-learning and other forms of digital content creation (video, scientific publications, blog posts, etc.)

·      E-platforms creation, hosting and management (these are web platforms with educational content for niche target audiences – aka Netflix for specialist doctors or scientists).

·      Building coalitions of stakeholders

We are looking for two trainees (interns) in one of the following areas: Marketing, Project Management or Technology.

A good knowledge of English (spoken and written) is a must. Knowledge of Dutch (spoken) is a nice to have.

Responsibilities - Marketing

LAUREA runs communication and promotional campaigns for our clients. You will be supporting our project managers in running these campaigns.

As such, you will get operational experience in creating and managing campaigns. These will be focussed on healthcare related topics in the field of neuroscience or dermatology and target healthcare professionals.

The main channels we use are email, LinkedIn, Facebook, website and print. In addition, you'll get insights in the analytics as well linked to these channels. Where needed you'll collaborate with external providers.

Responsibilities – Technology

LAUREA manages different web-platforms for its clients. These platforms are constantly evolving. Its the business owner (Stefaan) who oversees these tech platform. You will be supporting Stefaan in optimising and improving the platforms.

Specifically you will be analysing current visitor and subscriber behaviour and drafting and implementing proposals to improve the User Experience. You'll also be investigating how to integrate more AI features in the different software. Where needed you'll collaborate with external IT providers.

Responsibilities – Project management

LAUREA organises live learning experiences and the creation of digital content. Each of these require the coordination of the execution of a project plan.

As a project manager you will take the lead in the organisation of a live session (either in-person or a webinar) or the creation of digital content (a video for example).

You will create the project plan and coordinating the execution, liaising with suppliers and colleagues where needed.

Where

Brussels (Silversquare Europe on Square Meeûs, near the Trône metro station and Luxembourg station);

Teleworking is possible for 2 days per week (details to be agreed).
