Finance Manager (Belgium & Netherlands)
Location: Leuven, Belgium
Alivira Benelux NV, part of the global Alivira Group, is a fast-growing pharmaceutical company in the animal health sector. With a mission to improve the health and overall well-being of animals, we combine the strength of an international group with the agility of a small, dynamic team in Leuven.
We are now looking for a Finance Manager to strengthen our team and support our growth in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Your Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Controlling
- Ensure compliance with Belgium & Netherlands GAAP as well as IFRS.
- Apply and monitor Belgium & Netherlands statutory laws (VAT, social security, taxes, etc.).
- Manage and coordinate local audits.
- Guarantee accurate and timely monthly/quarterly/yearly statutory filings.
- Safeguard the internal control framework.
- Review statutory payment calculations and ensure timely payments.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Oversee monthly reporting and closing processes.
- Prepare Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.
- Develop budgets and conduct variance analysis.
- Support management with rolling forecasts and business insights.
- Develop PowerBI reports on sell-in and on sell-out data
- Supervise accounting activities for Belgium and the Netherlands.
- Monitor and manage cash flow.
- Optimize working capital.

Your Profile
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Belgium & Netherlands GAAP, IFRS, and statutory laws.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and Dutch (French is an advantage).
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Manager/coach of a small team.
- Relevant knowledge of PowerBI as a developer and user.
