Senior Electronics Engineer – Medical Devices

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electronics Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware electronics design and embedded software development, particularly in Linux-based systems and Qt frameworks. You will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of next-generation medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electronic hardware for medical devices, including analog and digital circuits.
• Develop embedded software for device control and user interfaces using Linux and Qt.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, and clinical experts.
• Participate in system architecture design and integration of hardware and software components.
• Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and standards (e.g., IEC 62304, IEC 60601).
• Support prototyping, debugging, and validation of electronic systems.
• Document design processes, specifications, and test results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware electronics design and embedded software development.
• Proficiency in Linux-based development environments.
• Fluency in English and Dutch (written and spoken) is required.
• Strong experience with Qt for GUI development.
• Solid understanding of micro controllers, PCB design, and signal processing.
• Experience with medical device development is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and documentation practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
