Mid–Senior Level Competition / Antitrust Associate (4+ PQE)

An outstanding opportunity has arisen with a leading international law firm that is strategically looking to meet strong candidates for future opportunities within its highly regarded Competition and Antitrust team.

While not actively hiring at this moment, the firm is interested in connecting with mid-to-senior level associates (4+ PQE) who could complement its expanding team and support ongoing growth in London and across its global offices.

The group has recently strengthened its senior bench with key strategic hires, and is now looking to deepen its bench strength at the mid and senior associate level.

The Role

The practice is involved in some of the most high-profile and sophisticated competition and antitrust work in the market. The team works closely with the firm’s offices in London, New York, and Washington, as well as with colleagues across its global Corporate and Litigation groups.

The work covers:

• A broad mix of merger control, investigations, litigation and compliance matters
• Private equity-related antitrust work, including large and mid-cap transactions — a key area of interest for the team
• Advising on cross-border issues and interacting with UK and EU competition authorities and other regulatory bodies
• Opportunities to work on complex multi-jurisdictional deals and high-profile matters alongside world-class practitioners

About You

The firm is seeking to connect with candidates who can demonstrate:

• 4+ years’ PQE in competition or antitrust law
• Strong experience in private equity transactions or exposure to the PE sector
• A solid background from a reputable UK or international firm
• Excellent technical skills, commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset
• The confidence and initiative to work closely with partners and clients on complex, multi-faceted matters
