Lead Software Architect

We are currently partnered with a software company focussed on finding an innovative lead software architect in a permanent employee position.

YOUR ROLE

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to understand product requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
• Lead the analysis, design, and implementation efforts within the product team, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural principles.
• Provide senior guidance and mentorship to fellow software architects, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Point of contact for our Squad Teams in order to build these software applications
• You keep an eye on the architecture through all their projects
• You document software solutions
• You work with State-of-the-art frameworks, methodologies (TTD, BDD, continuous delivery, DevOps ...) and architectures (DDD, microservices?)
• You actively participate and contribute to the Java community (presentations, support?)

YOUR PROFILE

• 5+ Years experience working as a team Lead in software architecture or software development
• Extensive experience working in software development & architecture > the ecosystem for this company is Java but it is not essential that your background is purely Java
• Solid understanding of software design principles, architectural patterns and best practices for development
• Interpersonal character with effective communication skills
