Accounting Coordinator (F/M)

Are you a motivated Accounting Coordinator (or financial professional) looking for a flexible role in a fast-growing cleantech company? Do you want to contribute your skills to the energy transition while ensuring our financial and operational processes run smoothly? At Octave, we’re looking for someone to strengthen our team 3 days per week.

Your role

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks in collaboration with our external accountant.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting using Odoo accounting platform.
• Oversee invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and cash management.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and internal reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements and support ERP implementation initiatives.

What you bring to our team

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or office management.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with accounting tools.
• Good organizational and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities in a growing company.
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and similar tools.

If you have some (or all) of the following, you've got a clear advantage

• Handle administrative tasks related to office management and HR support.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Odoo).
• Experience with Exact Online.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong advantage.
• Prior experience in a scale-up, cleantech, or technology environment.
