Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organised, and experienced Accountant to join our financial team. As a medium-level accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting business operations with accurate financial information. This position requires professional experience in accounting, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Record Management
- Maintain and update accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and trial balances.
Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budget creation and variance analysis, highlighting discrepancies.
Tax and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to local accounting policies and tax regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns, and assist during audits.
Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice reconciliation.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors and relevant parties.
Analysis and Decision Support
- Provide financial analysis and insights to management, aiding in cost control and financial decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial forecasting.
Process Improvement
- Participate in the implementation of accounting systems improvements and automation.
- Ensure efficiency in processes while maintaining accuracy.
Requirements
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification (preferred but not essential).
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or equivalent standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and present financial insights.
