We are now looking for an inspiring
Hotel / General Manager
to lead our team and shape the next chapter of Crowne Plaza Antwerp's success.

The
Hotel/General Manager
will lead the overall operations of Crowne Plaza Antwerp, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, financial performance, and team development. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in the hospitality industry, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence.

Your day to day
Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to all departments within the hotel.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve financial goals and enhance guest experiences.

  • Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless and efficient functioning of all hotel departments.

  • Ensure compliance with all IHG standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback to continuously improve service quality.

  • Financial Performance:

  • Develop and manage the hotel's budget, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.

  • Implement effective cost-control measures without compromising service quality.
  • Drive revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies and by maximizing room occupancy and rates.

  • Guest Experience:

  • Maintain high standards of guest service and hospitality, addressing and resolving any issues or complaints promptly.

  • Enhance the guest experience through personalized services and attention to detail.
  • Ensure all guest areas are well-maintained, clean, and welcoming.

  • Team Development:

  • Train and develop a high-performing team, fostering career growth and professional development.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

  • Community and Stakeholder Relations:

  • Represent the hotel in the local community and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Participate in local events and initiatives to enhance the hotel's reputation and visibility.
  • Collaborate with IHG corporate teams to align with brand standards and initiatives.

What We Need From You
Profile

  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Track record of achieving financial and operational goals in a high-end hotel environment.
  • Good leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch. Proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IHG brand standards and systems is a plus.
