you will join the NCI Agency as a
Senior Project Manager (G17)*
, leading the full lifecycle of medium-to-complex projects with direct business impact and firm deadlines.

Senior Project Managers in the NCI Agency deliver a wide range of projects across multiple business areas, including:

• Air Command and Control systems supporting NATO's Integrated Air and Missile Defence (AirC2 Centre).
• Joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance capabilities (JISR) that ensure situational awareness across NATO operations.
• NATO Business Applications Centre (NBAC).

Regardless of business area, you will:

• Lead projects from initiation to closure, applying recognised methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Manage budgets, schedules, risks, quality assurance and change control.
• Provide strong leadership to cross-functional, international project teams.
• Oversee contract management, ensuring delivery against KPIs and compliance standards.
• Engage with stakeholders across NATO and national bodies, ensuring open communication, progress reporting, and informed decision-making.

About You
You bring:

• A university degree in a relevant discipline, or 10+ years of progressive experience in project management.
• At least 3 years' recent experience managing acquisition and/or development projects for a large organisation.
• Strong capability in project lifecycle management, cost/schedule/resource control, and risk/change management.
• Recognised PM certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum Master).
• Experience with project management tools.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders in an international environment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Desirable

• Experience delivering projects in C4ISR, AirC2, or Business Applications domains.
• Familiarity with NATO processes or other international organisations.
• Additional certifications (e.g. ITIL, Agile, Cloud vendor qualifications).
