R&D Scientist – Genomics (NGS/ONT)

Your Role

As a key member of our R&D team, you will:

· Manage research activities at Progenus, including a European-funded project.

· Supervise experiments in other projects, focusing on RNA sequencing and data analysis.

· Design, perform, and analyze experiments (qPCR, Oxford Nanopore sequencing, NGS data).

· Write scientific reports in English, synthesize data, and present results to partners.

·       Propose innovative strategies and actively contribute to R&D meetings.

Your Profile

• PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in ONT sequencing, molecular biology, and NGS data analysis.
• Autonomous and able to quickly learn new techniques independently.
• Able to supervise and support other scientists in their projects.
• Communicates results clearly and effectively in English, both internally and externally.
• Motivated by new challenges; creative, innovative, and critical thinker.
