AISB-538 Senior IT System Architect

Mission Context

As part of a large-scale application outsourcing program, we are looking for a Senior IT System Architect to support the operational takeover of approximately 100 commercial applications. This is a long-term assignment, divided into two main phases:

• Takeover phase: defining and implementing all activities required to operationalize the services.
• Maintenance and management phase: ensuring continuous service delivery and improvement.

As a central member of the COTS takeover team, you will play a key role in defining deployment standards and coordinating technical teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Define installation processes for COTS and establish deployment standards (VMs, containerization, etc.).
• Prepare infrastructure documentation and create application ID cards.
• Conduct technical impact assessments and prepare evaluation reports.
• Coordinate and validate administrators' work during deployments.
• Ensure deployment approaches comply with enterprise standards and provide complete documentation when alternatives are needed.
• Continuously evaluate technical procedures and propose improvements to enhance service quality.

• Strong ability to coordinate multiple technicians during deployment tasks.
• Global vision of technical aspects across projects, with the ability to assess alternatives.
• Innovative mindset while maintaining pragmatic priorities.
• Excellent skills in documenting, structuring, and securing technical environments.

Required Skills

• Definition and documentation of deployment architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Server.
• Strong understanding of system and network security best practices.
• Expertise in authentication systems (AD, LDAP, OAuth2, OpenID).
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestrators (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Solid knowledge of virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, Cloudform).
• Proficiency with automation tools (Ansible).
• Broad knowledge of hosting stacks and database systems.
• Familiarity with UML, ArchiMate, and network diagrams.

Languages

• French: fluent (mandatory)
• English: professional level
• Dutch: passive knowledge
