The role

• Develop and grow sales of plastics / polymers in Belgium and neighboring markets
• Actively
  acquire and develop new customers
  : prospecting, cold calling, visiting clients, attending fairs and events
• Close
  fast-moving spot-market deals
  with high value and short decision cycles
• Build long-term business relationships and expand your professional network

Your Profile

• Proven track record in
  customer acquisition and business development
  – not just account management
• Multiple years of experience in
  commodity sales or trading
  (e.g. plastics, metals, dairy, cocoa, energy, chemicals, etc.); plastics experience is an advantage but not required
• Strong deal-closing skills in
  fast-paced trading environments
• Hunter mentality: resilient, proactive, target-driven
• Willingness to travel (~30-40%) to meet customers and grow the market
• High level of Fluency in Dutch and English
