As Marketing Director, you shape the image and positioning of the Ghent Marriott Hotel, both locally and internationally. You develop and coordinate creative, results-driven campaigns that make an impact.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing the marketing strategy in line with Marriott International brand standards and our local ambitions.
• Coordinating all online and offline communication (website, social media, email marketing, brochures, advertisements, PR, etc.).
• Creating promotions and campaigns for room bookings, MICE, food beverage, and events.
• Analyzing marketing data (e.g. Google Analytics, OTAs, booking data) and making adjustments where needed.
• Building relationships with local and international press, influencers, and strategic partners.
• Collaborating closely with the commercial team and the Aimbridge Hospitality head office for optimal synergy.
• Organizing photo shoots, video productions, and brand campaigns on site.

• At least 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably with 2 years in a leadership role within hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of the Belgian market and an international mindset.
• Familiarity with digital tools and channels: CMS systems, social media management (e.g. Meta Business Suite), email campaigns, SEO/SEA, Canva/Adobe, etc.
• Strong writing skills and fluency in both Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• A creative, analytical, and results-oriented mindset.
• A warm and approachable communication style that reflects Marriott's hospitality values.

• You are well-organized and can manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• You inspire colleagues, external partners, and clients with your energy and ideas.
• You keep up with trends in marketing and hospitality.
