Function

As a Software Engineer in our R&D department, you are passionate about innovation, developing our future products, and bringing new technical and creative ideas. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of embedded software for our pedestrian and transport-related products.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of 5 developers and will report directly to our Software R&D Manager.

Your responsibilities include :

• Participating in defining requirements and designing software
• Implementing software design and developing software components
• Commissioning prototypes and testing software and hardware integration
• Performing system-level analysis to understand user and customer needs
• Providing expertise in software development and contributing to process improvement
• Contributing to technical specifications and architectural design
• Providing third-level support for components once deployed
• Working in direct contact with our clients and various internal departments

Profile

• You are a true team player with excellent communication skills, enabling you to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, build a strong internal network, and maintain positive relationships with our clients.
• With a strong technical mindset, you are constantly seeking new knowledge and learning opportunities.
• You are rigorous and well-organized, bringing structure and clarity to your work.
• You hold a degree in IT, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, and have a successful track record with 2 to 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• You are fluent in French, both spoken and written, and have a solid command of technical English.
• You are willing to travel abroad 3 to 4 times per year.

Required technical skills:

• Object-oriented programming (C++, Python)
• Embedded Linux development
• Understanding of network protocols
• Experience in embedded software development (x86, ARM)
• Proficiency in GIT

Nice-to-have skills that will be highly valued:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity
• Motor control expertise
• Familiarity with neural networks / artificial intelligence
• Image processing
