DevOps Engineer

BWC is looking for a
DevOps Engineer - Expert for its client in Brussels, Belgium. Its a full time - permanent contract with BWC.

Functional Description:

As DevOps Engineer you will:

• Design, implement and manage applications and infrastructure using Kubernetes.
• Collaborating with development and DevOps teams to ensure reliable and scalable containerized environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing and development of dedicated platform on Kubernetes.
• Managing containerized applications.
• Development and management of dedicated Service on Kubernetes.
• Implementing pipelines for automated deployments and provisioning infrastructure.
• Optimizing Kubernetes clusters and applications for high performance and efficient scaling.
• Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues within Kubernetes environments.
• Working closely with developers and other teams to integrate and optimize application workflows.
• Setting up and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems for Kubernetes clusters.

Language Requirement:

Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of French and/or Dutch is
an important plus for interactions with clients, co-workers and external partners.

Required experience / knowledge

• At least 6 years of relevant experience

Technical experience:

• A strong development profile combined with cloud infrastructure knowledge
• At least 5 year experience on Java and/or Go
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Experience on certificates management: OAuth2, Vault
• Experience with DevOps tooling: GitLab,Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform
• Good understanding of the SDLC
• Proficient with CI/CD processes and best practices
• Service Mesh experience on Kubernetes is an asset
• Trunk base development is an asset
• GitOps practice is an asset
• AI LLMs knowledge is an asset
• Thorough experience working in or with Agile development teams
• Knowledge of banking/insurance sector is an asset
