Context

At Degroof Petercam Private Banking knowledge and trust are central in the service we provide to our clients.

Within the Client Center we manage the relation with our Mass Affluent clients, offering them investment solutions. In addition, we provide support to all Private Banking clients in the usage of the digital tools available to them.

We are looking for a Client Center Intern to support our dynamic Brussels-based team.

Your position

You will be part of a team that mainly interacts with clients remotely (e-mail, phone or video call).

Depending on the customer requests submitted to the team at the time of your internship, you will be interacting with customers to:

• Update client records for administrative or regulatory reasons (client contact details, client identification details, ID cards, KYC tasks, …)
• Collecting outstanding balances and perform account closings
• Onboard and educate customers on digital tools
• Support clients in the usage of digital tools

In addition, your tasks may include working on ad hoc initiatives to improve of our team procedures and tools, for example:

• Create and maintain templates for customer communication
• Document procedures in place, suggest improvements, update training materials

Your profile

• You are enthusiastic to provide high service to our clients in a qualitative, empathic and pro-active way;
• You are currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics, Business Engineering, Law or any related studies;
• You are fluent in Dutch or French, spoken and written, and can communicate effectively in English;
• You have a strong interest in financial services;
• You are computer literate;
• You are a team player, who likes to work in a challenging environment in a dynamic team.
