Hangar Facility Engineer

We are looking for a driven a Hangar Facility Engineer, who will play a key role in supporting the efficiency and safety of our maintenance operations. You ensure that the hangar and workspaces are clean, organized, and functional. Your proactive, hands-on support helps maintain a safe and structured environment for our technical teams.

Tasks

• Perform light repairs and workspace setups
• Inspect shop floor and support layout improvements
• Ensure waste disposal and environmental compliance
• Assist with maintenance schedules and special projects
• Organize and restock tools and supplies
• Track usage and reorder essential materials
• Maintain 5S standards across work areas
• Support general and deep hangar cleaning
• Help improve layout for safety and flow
• Monitor PPE and safety stock levels
• Assist with safety checks and compliance
• Support technicians in maintenance tasks
• Report facility issues and suggest improvements

Requirements
You'll be part of the Maintenance & Engineering team — a passionate and committed group that plays a key role in ensuring every flight is safe, enjoyable, and on time.

• Min. 1–2 years experience in facility maintenance, janitorial services, or roles in an industrial, aviation/technical environment
• Experience working in a safety-sensitive/regulated workplace
• Mechanical skills
• Familiarity with workplace safety protocols, including PPE use and proper waste disposal
• Understanding of 5S or similar workplace organization systems
• Physically capable of lifting moderate loads and performing manual tasks
• Strong attention to detail+commitment to cleanliness, safety and order
• Proactive, self-motivated and takes ownership of assigned areas
• Reliable+punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
• Good communication + coordinating
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting
• Willingness to adapt and respond flexibly to changing maintenance needs or priorities
