You'll ensure guest rooms and public areas are spotless, safe, and welcoming. The role combines daily cleaning, periodic deep-cleaning, and quick-turn service to brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and reset guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to SOP standards.
 - Replenish amenities, linen, and guest supplies; report low stock.
 - Handle laundry: sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding (as applicable).
 - Perform periodic deep-clean tasks (carpets, grout, descaling, windows, fixtures).
 - Report maintenance issues (lights, HVAC, plumbing) via the ticketing system.
 - Adhere to hygiene, chemical handling, and safety protocols (HACCP where relevant).
 - Support breakfast activities if needed
 - Keep storerooms tidy; conduct basic inventory counts.
 - Maintain guest privacy and lost-and-found procedures.
 
Skills & requirements
- Experience in housekeeping (hotel, serviced apartments, or similar) preferred.
 - Strong eye for detail, time management, and consistency.
 - Physical ability for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
 - Basic English (or NL) for team communication; reliability and discretion.
 - Familiarity with cleaning equipment and safe chemical use.
