Private Banking Process Coordinator


Context
The Client Service Office (CSO) is a client-facing, front-to-back, first line of defence organization. Client Service Officers work closely with Private Bankers to ensure optimal operational service for clients—from the prospecting phase through daily banking operations to account closure.

The CSO Process Coordinator plays a key role in optimizing, documenting, and harmonizing processes within the CSO community. As the right hand of the Head of CSO, they contribute to operational excellence, support CSO teams with complex cases, and promote digital transformation and knowledge sharing.

Your position
Process Optimization & Documentation

  • Design, document, and maintain processes, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Ensure harmonization and standardization of working methods across the CSO community.
  • Set up and manage a central intranet platform for process documentation.

Operational Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for complex client cases (KYC, KYT, MiFID, taxation, etc.).
  • Support CSOs and CSO Coordinators with regulatory and operational queries.
  • Communicate regularly on first line of defence responsibilities.

Training & Development

  • Develop training programs for new and existing CSOs.
  • Coach and guide teams in implementing new processes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with other business lines (Operations, Compliance, IT, Risk, etc.).
  • Actively participate in projects transforming the Private Banking business.
  • Maintain regular presence in local offices to stay connected with field practices.

Digital Transformation

  • Promote digital tools and processes within the CSO community.
  • Identify areas for improvement and encourage innovation.

Your profile
Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
  • Relevant experience in Private Banking or Investment Banking is a plus.
  • Strong interest and/or knowledge of regulatory requirements (MiFID, AML, cross-border, etc.).
  • Affinity for process optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Proficient in IT tools and digital platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Proactive, dynamic team player with leadership capabilities.
