You are the first face our guests see – and the one they won't soon forget. You make sure everyone immediately feels welcome and at home.

Your tasks are varied and impactful:

• Warmly welcome guests and assist them with check-in and check-out, following Marriott's quality standards.
• Be the go-to contact for questions, requests or concerns – always with a listening ear and solution-oriented approach.
• Know Ghent inside out and love to share tips about local hotspots, dining options and hidden gems.
• Think commercially and promote our hotel services by actively recommending additional amenities.
• Carefully register feedback and complaints, and ensure a swift and professional follow-up with your team.
• Operate the bar next to the reception: serve drinks and small dishes to our guests, always with the same hospitable flair.

In short: you're the host, the trusted point of contact, the problem-solver and the ambassador of our hotel – all at once.

You are someone who:

• Genuinely loves people and wants to leave a positive impression.
• Works well in a team but also takes initiative independently.
• Is open to flexible working hours, including shifts between 7 am and 11 pm, also on weekends.
• Is looking for full-time (38h) or part-time work.
• Communicates fluently in Dutch and English (knowledge of other languages is a plus).
• Experience in the hospitality sector is a bonus, but your attitude and willingness to learn are just as important to us.
• A diploma in Hotel Management or relevant front desk experience is a plus, but not required. What counts is your enthusiasm, commitment and customer-oriented mindset.
