Mission
- Define the installation processes for COTS (Off-The-Shelf products)
- Define deployment standards to be applied (deployment on standalone VMs, ing, containerization, etc.)
- Prepare infrastructure documentation for service deployment
- Create ID Cards for the applications to be deployed
- Conduct technical impact assessments and prepare evaluation reports for COTS
- Coordinate and validate the work of administrators during deployment implementation together with the team leader.

- Understand various implementation alternatives for services and present their advantages and disadvantages
- Identify innovation opportunities while maintaining a sense of priorities
- Be capable of having an overall view of all technical aspects of a project
Job Description
With the context of an application outsourcing program delegated to SMALS, we are looking for a system architect profile.
This mission is part of the operational takeover of ~100 commercial applications, which is divided into two phases:
- The takeover project, aimed at defining and implementing all the activities necessary to operationalize the service
- The maintenance and management of the service defined in project mode
- This is a long-term assignment in which the infrastructure architect plays a central role within the COTS takeover team.
- The main mission will be to evaluate the proposed implementations for the various COTS to be taken over and determine the most efficient .
- They must ensure that the service deployment approach aligns with enterprise standards and, where this is not possible, ensure that complete documentation is provided to enable operational follow-up.
- They will coordinate the work of technical administrators and ensure that the established maintenance procedures are applied.
- They will continuously evaluate technical procedures and propose necessary improvements to enhance service quality.
Required Skills
- Definition and documentation of deployment architectures
- Knowledge of modeling notations (UML, Network diagrams, ArchiMate)
- Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
- Knowledge of system security best practices
- Deep understanding of authentication systems and user communities (AD, LDAP, OAuth2, OpenID, FAS)
- Knowledge of containerization systems and orchestrators: OpenShift (and potentially Kubernetes)
- Understanding of virtualization systems (ESX, VMWare, Cloudform, vCenter, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of networking and network security principles and mechanisms.
- Development and documentation of technical maintenance procedures
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible)
- Strong general knowledge of hosting application stacks and database systems
The first contract will be until 31/12/2025 and then renewable by 3 or 6 months.
