Reactivity Engineer


As Reactivity Engineer you will be responsible to co-ordinate the warranty investigations from field returns. You are the interface between customer complaints, residence engineers, logistics, protoshop, testrigs and the CIRT team to assure that warranty investigations are handled according to the After Sales and Service instructions and results are reported to the customer within the specified time frame.


You will be based in PPeT (Sint-Truiden) but will require to travel to both internal & external customers/suppliers on occasional base. In this role you will report to the After Sales and Service leader.


Job Description


Main activities:


  • Based on warranty information from customers platform you define the PPeT internal actions on the Punch Powertrain PSA e-transmissions platforms (Jira, CAQ,…)
  • Follow up and support the investigations in the workshop and testing department. Involve the CIRT team in case of necessity.
  • You make the final decision regarding the root cause analysis and the QRQC actions
  • You are responsible to enter the warranty investigation results into the customers platform within the specified time frame.


Customer and project overview:


  • Main customer Stellantis is a constellation of 14 iconic automotive brands (Chrysler, Alfa Romeo, Citroen, DS, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, RAM, Vauxhall and Peugeot. Each these brands do keep their own vehicle DNA and quality reporting methodologies.
  • Stellantis is present in more than 130 markets globally spread.
  • > 200 different vehicle applications (combination of different vehicles and software variants for different regions) we’ll be launched in the following 2 years.
  • With a yearly sales volume above 1.200 M transmission we will reach > 2B€ yearly turnover.
  • Our DT2 product family (9 main hardware variants) will be assembled by 14 different vehicle plants of the Stellantis group located in Europe, North Africa and Asia. North and South America are to follow in the following years.


Localisation :


You will be based at the After sales and Service department in St-Truiden


Profile


  • Bachelor degree electromechanics
  • Experience in analytical automotive technics
  • You communicate in a clear and correct way to customers
  • Technical product knowledge
  • Willing to go to GEMBA. Presence on shop floor required with a hands-on mentality.
  • You can work autonomous as well as in team
  • You speak Dutch & English fluently. French would be a plus
  • You are willing to travel on occasional base

Soft skills:


  • Able to network (Make sure the right people can be contacted)

  • Persuasive (Customer discussions)
  • Be able to negotiate (Customer & internal alignments)


Hard skills:

  • Multilingual (English,Dutch,French,…)
  • Acquainted with quality tools (8D, QRQC, SPC)
  • Acquainted with automotive diagnostic tools
  • Troubleshooting
