Strategic Portfolio Lead

h2Senior Portfolio Leader /h2pWe are looking for an experienced Senior Portfolio Leader to join our team and lead portfolio management initiatives. This role requires strong leadership in designing, implementing and improving portfolio management processes. /ppThis senior position involves leading a portfolio of projects and programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and long-term goals. Key responsibilities include: /pulliDesigning and implementing a portfolio and program management framework aligned with division strategy /liliEnhancing and improving portfolio management processes and fostering a culture of adaptability and change /liliDefining priorities within the portfolio to ensure optimal resource allocation /liliDriving the execution of programs and projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction /liliMonitoring and reporting progress using KPIs and performance indicators /liliIdentifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks across the portfolio /li /ulh3Required Skills and Qualifications /h3ulliMaster's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience in related fields /liliSolid expertise in portfolio and project management /liliExperience in complex systems and IT programmes (defence, Telecom, intelligence, surveillance, or related areas) /liliProven track record in progress tracking and reporting /liliProject Management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) /li /ulh3Benefits /h3pThis is an on-site role with limited remote flexibility located in the South of Brussels area. The start date is mid-November 2025, with a contract duration of 6 months, possible extensions into the future. /ph3Others /h3pThe successful candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, be a collaborative team player, proactive and solutions-driven.
