Digital Journey Manager

Are you an experienced Digital Marketing expert with a passion for optimizing the customer experience? Do you want to play a crucial role in the digital transformation of one of the largest players in the Belgian telecom sector? This is your opportunity!


We are looking for a highly motivated Digital Journey Manager for a long-term project at one of our leading telecom clients in Belgium.


The Role: Digital Journey Manager

As a Digital Journey Manager, you will be a driving force within our client's Digital Marketing department. You will be responsible for the end-to-end digital customer journeys for residential customers, self-employed professionals, and small businesses.

You will translate the commercial strategy into concrete digital actions aimed at achieving goals related to awareness, conversion, and retention.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Journey Optimization: Map and continuously optimize the entire digital customer journey, from initial contact to purchase and beyond.
  • Strategy & Data: Develop functional journey maps using a reverse-funnel approach and formulate sharp hypotheses for A/B testing to drive performance improvements.
  • Implementation: Leverage your expertise in SEO, SEA, CRO, and email marketing to effectively execute the journeys.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI teams, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
  • Reporting: Set up and monitor performance reports (e.g., in Looker Studio) and present progress in internal forums.


Your Profile

You are a strong project manager with an analytical mindset and a results-driven focus. You are able to navigate a complex environment, set priorities, and adapt to changing needs.


Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or digital campaign management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Digital Journey Mapping and optimization.
  • Strong expertise in SEO, SEA, and CRO (including A/B testing).
  • Experience with E-commerce and strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with performance reporting tools (Looker Studio) and analytics (Adobe or Google Analytics).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Telco sector.
  • Proficiency in the Dutch language.
