On behalf of our client, a global leader in semiconductor R&D, we are recruiting a Global R&D Leader – Next-Gen AI & Computing Hardware to lead cutting-edge research programs shaping the future of AI chipsets and high-performance computing. Join a world-class European R&D hub in Leuven and collaborate with global experts from academia and industry to deliver breakthrough semiconductor solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead strategic R&D initiatives in AI accelerators, CPU/GPU architectures, and advanced computing systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and transform early-stage concepts into actionable product roadmaps.
• Produce influential technical insights and reports for senior leadership.
• Manage international collaborations with partners, universities, and suppliers.
• Oversee prototyping and feasibility studies to validate innovative hardware designs.
• Foster cross-functional teamwork and knowledge exchange in a fast-paced environment.

What You Bring:

• PhD with 5+ years of experience in AI hardware, computing architectures, or semiconductor R&D.
• Expertise in one or more: AI/ML ASICs, interconnects, low-power design, heterogeneous integration (3DIC), or optoelectronics.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with strategic vision.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.
