Senior Project Manager – Identity & Access Management

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical security initiatives within a global financial services environment. This role sits within the Information Security division and focuses on delivering complex, high-impact projects designed to safeguard sensitive assets and strengthen resilience across the organisation.
The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of projects, with a primary focus on Identity & Access Management (IDAM). You will be accountable for driving delivery, ensuring governance and quality standards are met, and coordinating diverse technical and business teams to achieve measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale information security projects from definition through to closure, with full accountability for scope, budget, quality, and timelines.
- Oversee project resources, ensuring teams are aligned, motivated, and delivering against agreed objectives.
- Monitor and control risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as required and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure deliverables are tested, validated, and successfully operationalised within the business.
- Produce and maintain project governance documentation, quality plans, and stakeholder reporting.
- Drive change control processes, ensuring any scope or budget variations are appropriately approved.
- Facilitate post-implementation reviews, capturing lessons learned and ensuring continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of proven project management experience within large-scale financial services or similarly complex environments.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering multiple end-to-end projects of significant scale (1,000–3,000 man-days).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Expertise in recognised project management methodologies (Waterfall, PMI, Prince2) and exposure to agile practices.
- Solid understanding of information security principles, with hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management.
- Previous experience redeploying or managing CyberArk infrastructure in complex environments is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic and adaptable approach.
- Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
