About the Role

As a Project Cargo Forwarder, you are the central link between clients, shipping lines, carriers, and internal departments. You coordinate the full transport process for exceptional and often complex cargo shipments. With your organizational talent and attention to detail, you ensure every project runs smoothly from A to Z.

Responsibilities

• Organize, monitor, and coordinate global transport for project cargo
• Maintain contact with clients, suppliers, and carriers
• Prepare and follow up on files, documents, and transport instructions
• Handle all administrative formalities (customs, permits, documentation)
• Monitor deadlines, budgets, and quality standards for each project
• Think proactively and provide solutions to unexpected challenges
• Work closely with the operations and sales teams to deliver successful projects

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or project logistics (project cargo experience is a strong asset)
• Knowledge of different transport modes (sea, road, air, barge) and related documentation
• Fluent communication in English and Dutch (additional languages are an asset)
• Customer-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven attitude
• Accurate, structured, and stress-resistant way of working
• A true team player with initiative and drive
