Contract Duration: 06 months with possibility of extension

Working Environment: Hybrid; 2-3 days per week onsite

Role Summary:

This role will be part of our ‘CMDB & IT Configuration management team’, to support and grow in CMDB data maintenance.

The candidate will have a strong background in ITIL Configuration Management practices, hands-on experience with ServiceNow as the ITSM platform and a strong understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework.

As member of the Configuration Management team, you will manage the lifecycle of the Configuration Items (CIs) within the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

You will work collaboratively with various teams (CI data owners) to maintain the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the Configuration Management processes and data.

Responsible for:

• You support our Configuration Management Process Owner - CMDB owner in their operation.
• CI Lifecycle Management: Manage the lifecycle of CIs from creation, and update, to retirement, ensuring proper documentation, change tracking, and relationships between CIs.
• CI Data Accuracy: Perform regular audits and reviews of CIs in the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Reporting & Metrics: Develop and deliver regular reports and dashboards on Configuration Management metrics, including CI accuracy, database health, and audit findings.
• Ensuring operating procedures are documented to support the activities.
• Supporting in creating and maintaining documentation and learning material for configuration management process users.

Competences and skills:

• Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow CSDM model and experience in applying this in Configuration Management.
• Experience in establishing and rolling-out ITIL processes in a large and complex organization (‘not only’ executing them) with many teams involved.
• Good knowledge and experience on ServiceNow CMDB, CMDB Workspace and related reports.
• Good knowledge of IT governance processes and their relations (IT Service mgmt, operations mgmt, portfolio mgmt, … )
• ITIL expert
• You are reliable and patient in supporting organisation in adoption of new process & defining new services data.
• Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as IT Configuration Manager.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using ServiceNow CMDB.
