Accounting Manager – Full Package

For this company based in Zaventem, we are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead a small team of experienced accountants.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between the operational accountants, the Shared Service Centre and the CFO. The duties of the position are diverse and focus on supporting the team, reporting, and one-off projects, such as the implementation of a new ERP system, which will take place in the upcoming months.

Accounting Manager – The Job

• Supervise the accounting departments: provide trainings and guidance, performance reviews, manage schedules..
• Handle month- and year-end accounting closings as well as regular reporting
• Prepare and submit the company’s annual accounts
• First point of contact for the external accounting firm, the Shared Service Centre, banks, etc.
• Participate in the implementation of the new version of the ERP (SAP S/4HANA)

Accounting Manager – About You

• You have obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is always appreciated
• You have at least 10 years’ experience in accounting, and several years of experience as a manager
• Previous experience with SAP is a must, proficiency with SAP S/4HANA is a plus
• You are fluent in Dutch, English and you have at least an intermediate level of French
