Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee data strategy efforts for therapeutic areas in the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and global stakeholders to design and implement data strategies that support drug development and commercialization. This position requires a collaborative approach to ensure the effective use of healthcare data to drive business impact.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute short- and long-term plans for using healthcare data to gain insights and maintain a competitive edge.
• Stay informed about healthcare data types (e.g., claims, electronic medical records, labs, genetics) and analytical methods.
• Guide the selection of data throughout all stages of product development and commercialization.
• Work with global teams to understand business needs, define use cases, and prioritize data requirements.
• Collaborate with data acquisition teams to identify and evaluate data assets.
• Ensure successful implementation of data projects by working with analytics teams.
• Foster collaboration across departments, including IT, compliance, and business units.
• Drive innovation in data usage within therapeutic areas.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A degree in a relevant field (advanced degrees preferred).
• Working history in advising on data acquisition strategies for pre- and post-launch phases.
• Familiarity with various types of pharmaceutical data and their applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
