Role: Front-End Developer

Location: Vilvoorde, flexible hybrid work

Renumeration: €3.500-€6.000 + benefits

We’re working with a growing scale-up tech company based in Vilvoorde, building diverse SaaS solutions for a range of different industries, generally with a specific focus on aviation/mobility, government projects and large-scale MedTech companies.

Currently they're looking to expand their team with a Front-End Developer (experienced in Vue/React) who will have the choice of working on an internal product basis or instead has the option to work directly with the customer.

The role will entail some client-facing responsibilities, development of new features (on an internal or external basis) and also some management/lead responsibilities within the internal team.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, performant, and accessible UIs using React, Vue, and modern JavaScript tools.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and back-end engineers to create smooth user experiences.
• Help shape front-end architecture and best practices.
• Develop new features on both an internal/external basis.
• Take on some lead responsibilities in the team such as mentoring juniors, conducting technical interviews or face-to-face client meetings
• Testing and code reviews.

Your Profile

• You’ve got solid experience in front-end development, especially with React and Vue.js.
• You either have senior/lead experience or are ready to step into a senior role.
• You write clean, maintainable code, and enjoy collaborating with others.
• You care about user experience just as much as the code behind it.
• You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in IT.
• You're happy commuting to Vilvoorde on a hybrid basis.
• You speak fluent English (Dutch a huge plus).
