Job purpose:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Security Officer (ISO) to be part of establishing, implementing, and maintaining the bank’s information security framework to safeguard systems, data, and operations against internal and external threats.


As part of the Security Operations Center (SOC), the ISO will contribute to configure/monitoring, network and application security, data protection, and incident response, while fostering a strong security culture throughout the bank.


The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background to build and monitor the bank’s defenses against threats, combined with solid knowledge of EU regulations such as DORA and GDPR. The role requires expertise in, but not limited to, SIEM, Data Lost Prevention, incident response, endpoint protection, and information security governance.


The Information Security Officer (ISO) will works under the responsibility of, and reports directly to, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Confidentiality is paramount in The Information Security Officer (ISO). This position requires the utmost discretion and integrity, as you will be entrusted with safeguarding sensitive information pertaining to the bank's digital assets, customer data, and strategic IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Security Operations & Monitoring (SOC)

  • Oversee daily SOC activities, including real-time monitoring, threat detection, triage, and response.
  • Analyse and investigate security incidents, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery measures.
  • Maintain and enhance SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Develop security use cases aligned with the bank’s security requirements.

2. Network & Cloud Infrastructure Security

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure network architecture, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
  • Monitor for unauthorized access, data leakage, and other anomalies.
  • Ensure effective security controls across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructures.
  • Apply knowledge of cloud security best practices.

3. Input & Data Protection

  • Implement robust data security policies to safeguard sensitive financial and customer information.
  • Oversee encryption, tokenization, data classification, and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.
  • Ensure secure application development practices, including input validation and code reviews.

4. Incident Management & Business Continuity

  • Develop, maintain, and test incident response and disaster recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with IT, legal, compliance, and external stakeholders during major security incidents.

5. Governance, Awareness & Training

  • Define and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Deliver security awareness programs and training sessions for employees.

Qualifications:

  • 3- 5 years of experience in information security, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of SOC operations.
  • Hands-on expertise in network security, SIEM, endpoint protection, DLP, security awareness, and encryption technologies.
  • Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, DORA, CEH, or ISO 27001.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.


Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability & willingness and ability to travel to group units and clients/markets.
  • Self-learning skills


Language Skills:

  • English is required.
  • French is a plus.


Education Level required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
