Job Title: Cyber Security Consultant

Location: Brussels (Hybrid, 1 day/week onsite)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months (extension possible)

Rate: E600,- per day

Language: English (French/Dutch a plus)

Role Overview:

Join the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), responsible for managing and mitigating security incidents across the organization. As a SIEM Analyst, you’ll focus on log ingestion, monitoring use cases, and enhancing visibility across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with application and engineering teams on log ingestion and validation in SIEM.

Collaborate with Cyber Defense and Threat Intel teams to create and refine monitoring use cases.

Represent CSIRT in meetings with stakeholders on log requirements.

Build dashboards and reports.

Support blue team activities, including red team exercises.

Profile:

Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, internet technologies, and network protocols.

Proven experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (mandatory).

Skilled in query languages (KQL, SPL, etc.).

SOC and telecom sector experience is a big plus

Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) a plus.

Must be based in Belgium with full working rights (citizen or long-term resident).
