About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager – CAPEX, you will lead and execute critical capital investment projects from definition to handover, directly contributing to the strategic roadmap of a major life sciences site. You will ensure projects meet the highest standards in safety, quality, budget, and schedule, while navigating complex stakeholder environments and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Leading large-scale CAPEX projects (up to €10M) from initiation to completion
• Ensuring project delivery aligns with business strategy, safety, quality, and compliance standards (GMP, GEP, PMM)
• Managing project scope, planning, budgeting, and execution phases
• Coordinating internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and suppliers
• Driving project identification, prioritization, and resource allocation
• Facilitating technical reviews, risk assessments, and decision-making processes
• Ensuring proper documentation, change management, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Supporting site strategy by translating business roadmaps into executable projects
• Leading project teams and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• You hold a master’s degree in engineering or a related field
• You have 5+ years of experience in project and operations management, with a strong track record in managing large CAPEX portfolios
• You are confident in leading cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving project success
• You have solid technical knowledge of facilities and utilities projects, and are familiar with GMP, FDA, and EMEA guidelines
• You are certified (or have strong knowledge) in Project Management methodologies (e.g., PMP)
• You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
• You demonstrate ownership, accountability, and autonomy, with a strong sense of urgency and flexibility
• You are comfortable working in complex environments and can effectively negotiate technical matters with suppliers
• You have excellent communication skills, enabling you to engage clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-impact engineering solutions in the life sciences sector. The team collaborates closely with business units, technical experts, and external partners to ensure project excellence and strategic alignment.
