Program Manager / Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex and strategic software implementation projects within the Retail sector. You will manage large-scale, high-risk initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction. This role requires building strong partnerships with senior client stakeholders, managing cross-functional teams, and contributing to business growth through client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

-> Define project scope, goals, deliverables, risks, and resource requirements.

-> Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and plans.

-> Lead cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and cultures.

-> Manage project financials, including revenue forecasting, invoicing, and cost control.

-> Serve as the main point of contact for senior retail clients and executives.

-> Build strategic alliances with vendors and subcontractors.

-> Drive process improvements and best practices within project delivery.

-> Support sales teams with client presentations and contract negotiations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

-> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.

-> 10+ years’ proven experience in managing large, complex projects in Professional Services.

-> Experience managing budgets up to €10M.

-> Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and infrastructure/software delivery lifecycles.

-> Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams.

-> Strong communication skills (executive, technical, and business writing).

-> Knowledge of PM frameworks (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, IPMA).

-> Strong proficiency in MS Project/Teams or similar project management tools.

-> Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
